Hilton Garden Inn Lakewood

This is a nice, clean hotel with the quality one would expect from a Hilton Garden Inn property. The staff was friendly and attentive. We had no issues with loud parties during our weekend stay. My only issue was with the cost of breakfast; the buffet and other menu items are overpriced. But breakfast was good. Overall, I recommend the Hilton Garden Inn Lakewood.

I have very mixed opinions of this hotel. It’s just not worth the price. Yes, the room was huge & comfortable. The pool was fantastic. For $289.00 a night an included breakfast would be nice. While they do offer a breakfast buffet for an additional cost ($20 per person per day) it’s no different than what the Home 2 Suites includes at no charge. I expect a working TV. Of course TV is not the most important thing when out of town however when a guest asks twice & twice they say they’ll send someone up & never do, the non responsiveness is a much bigger issue than a non working TV. We requested an accessible room as we had someone with us that uses a walker. The grab bars in the bathroom were great however if someone is in a wheelchair the bathtub is not at all accessible. I was told all of the 2 queen rooms have tubs. What happens if someone needs both 2 queens & an accessible shower? I guess this hotel doesn’t want truly handicapped guests. I like the Hilton brand & will definitely stay at another Hilton owned property just never a Hilton Garden Inn.

This was the second time my family and I stayed here. We were just as if not more satisfied with this stay. Our first day there the weather was rainy so the pool (though small) came in handy. I got each day started with a quick workout in the fitness center. The staff was very accommodating to our needs. The location is great - 25-30 min from all the major beaches. Will definitely stay here again.

Most of the reason for my rating goes to the young man at the front desk who I believe was Steven. I love 7 minutes from this hotel and when my community had a complete loss of power on a day when it was expected to drop well below freezing I took the chance and came to the Hilton. Steven was very kind when I explained my situation and was able to get me a room. Room was very clean, beds were very comfortable. The hotel lobby is gorgeous but to be honest the rooms could use an update. Everything works as it should and it's comfortable just a little outdated. They do have a cooked to order breakfast but it's at an additional cost so I didn't partake but it smelled really good lol. All in all a clean comfortable nice hotel although it is pricey. I would stay here again if needed.

Average hotel. At 2:45 AM I was woken to someone trying to enter my room. After running to re-lock the door I called the front desk alerting them that someone successfully opened my door and the only thing that stopped it from opening all the way was the inside latch. She then informed me she gave the master key to the new guest to open the door. Turns out his key wasn’t working because the wrong room was written on his key card. Terrifying experience!

What a disappointment. Chose this Hilton as my wedding block and was nothing but problems. The staff were rude. A few of our guests had broken ac units and dirty room. Honestly embarrassed by this hotel. I should have known what a disaster this hotel was gonna be from the lack of communication I got when trying to set up the wedding block. I was unable to get in contact with the coordinator when I tried calling and emailing her. I had to physically go in to get someone’s attention. As for the days of they messed up with amount of swag bags each room got causing my guests to not receive any. Staff were rude and seemed like they could care less about our issues. As a Hilton you would think they would do better. Would not recommend to anyone who is having a wedding to use this hotel.
